Dog e Lites™ Shipping and Handling Policies

Shipping Methods

We currently ship all orders within the continental US by USPS Priority Mail Service and within Canada by Canada Post Expedited Parcel Service unless otherwise requested. We bulk our cross-border orders and ensure they are cleared and any duty paid before being shipped to our customers to ensure you will have no surprises, no inconvenience and no additional duty or fees to pay as a result of your cross-border purchase.

For orders outside USA & Canada, please contact us for a quote.

If you choose to have your purchase shipped by UPS or a similar courier company, your shipping charges will reflect the additional cost levied by these carriers including brokerage fees to clear the items in the case of cross-border orders.

Shipping and Handling Costs

Your shipping and handling charges include:

  • Actual cost of postage.
  • Cost of duty and customs clearance, where applicable.
  • Packaging materials and labour.


Lost packages are insured up to $50 in USA and $100 in Canada. Additional insurance is available upon request. Please note that we can place a claim on a lost package only after 2 weeks from the date of shipping. 

Orders returned to us due to an incorrect or invalid address will incur additional shipping charges to reship. If a returned order is cancelled, shipping charges will not be refunded.

Timelines & Guarantees

Online orders are processed in the order received and every effort is made to ship in an expedient manner.  For items in stock, we generally ship within 1-3 days of order receipt. You will be advised of any backorder items.  If your order is urgent, you may email us to request priority handling.  We pay great attention to detail and quality control, as we want you to enjoy your purchase.

Please be patient. Also please note that cross-border orders may take a few extra days to clear as described above.

Each carrier offers its’ own guaranteed or estimated delivery times. UPS delivery times are guaranteed by UPS, and Canada Post’s by Canada Post. These guarantees do not cover delays due to natural disasters, or weather. We are not responsible for carrier delays, but we will refund your shipping costs and place the claim for you when UPS' or Canada Post’s guarantee covers the delay. The US Post Office does not guarantee their delivery times.

The 2-3 day estimate they give for Priority Mail is only an estimate and should not be considered a guarantee.

Non-online orders: Should you prefer to send your order to us by fax, we are happy to respect your choice and your order will be placed in priority sequence with online orders.
